Tim Rosser LLB; ACA; Chartered Tax Adviser; Non practising Barrister;
Managing Director, Turning Circle Solutions Limited
After graduating from the University of Southampton with an honours degree in law, Tim passed the Bar Examination and then qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Young in 1988.
He was then appointed to develop and grow the tax practice of accounting firm The MacDonald Partnership. During this time Tim also wrote and self published a well-received book on grant funding for the UK business community.
After playing an instrumental part in selling the MacDonald Partnership's general practice client base in 1996 to a Central London general practitioner, he went on to develop the company's niche turnaround business. Over the next five years, Tim developed an expertise in corporate turnaround and has advised in more than fifty successful business restructuring and re-financing projects in the manufacturing, service and IT sectors. Tim was also a director of financial services software solutions start-up, for whom he helped to raise almost £1 million in 2000.
In February 2001, he founded Turning Circle Solutions.
He is currently a director and shareholder of an investment vehicle for UK SME companies while his business interests have been widened since 2004 by a series of non-executive appointments to boards of fast-growing SMEs in the service sector.
He brings a breadth of experience and entrepreneurial flair to his professional advice whether it be business recovery strategy, tax advice, corporate finance, or general strategic advice and is also a combative negotiator on behalf of his clients.
